ADULT JAZZ

‘Springful’ is an organic, eclectic and emotive record. It’s jerks and shivers like your beating heart on a brisk spring morning. Just when the sun hasn’t quite defrosted the earth, however, the daffodils are beginning to bloom showing signs of life after the winter season.

The single grabs you with its curious sounds. Beginning as a soulful 50’s jazz house number, it invites you in softly with mellow guitars, and soon progresses into a blissful lull. Then it weaves in mysterious ways, becoming turbulent with disjointed electronic elements, poignant vocals, acoustic guitar and spontaneous percussion.

Created by the Leeds quartet Adult Jazz ‘Springful’ is a reflective counterpart to it’s other A-side ‘Am Gone’ from the bands new 12-inch single.  Soon you can hear this captivating single live as Adult Jazz play their first headline shows next month; at London on 5th and Leeds the 6th February.
