South-West London lad Ben Khan is very much channelling the aura of post-dubstep stalwarts Mount Kimbie in his track, ‘Whitehorse’. Through its use of claps, snares and acoustic guitar, ‘Whitehorse’ becomes an understated, emotional ensemble.

The singer/songwriter’s vocal is one that possesses pain in its delivery, and this adds to the emphasis on emotion within the song. The track suggests that Khan is still trying to find his own musical style, but it looks like the young man has an exciting musical future ahead of him. This is the only song on the artist’s SoundCloud, but it’s for sure that the next offering will be one to check out.
