THE GREAT ESCAPE SHOWCASE PREVIEW – BRYDE

London-based Sarah Howells has only been performing as Bryde for almost two years now, mastering the art of a well crafted confessional song – both silencing and invigorating audiences at the same time. Now with full band, Bryde has been heard doing exactly this throughout their recent UK tour in support of latest single ‘Less’.  

Following on from 2016’s ‘Wouldn’t That Make You Feel Good?’ the influence of artists like Sharon Van Etten shine through. These new guitar-laden songs are powerful, heavier, and showcase yet more depth to the band as a whole. With airplay across Radio 1 as BBC Introducing’s artist of the week, Bryde’s set at The Great Escape is not to be missed.
