CINEMA

Our latest tip from Cinema is a soulful and melodious slice of electronic alt-pop with a bright, ethereal feel not dissimilar to the likes of Swim Deep and JAWS. This Brummy five-piece are testament to a Birmingham music scene bustling with creative emerging talent.

In ‘Move On’, Cinema owe their tropical sound to their use of a wide range of instruments: guitars, drums, bass, piano, keyboards, and added zest with beautifully layered synth and percussion. As well as having a knack for creating pop music which is vivid and rich. Cinema are also known for their stunning visual display when performing live – bringing exotic foliage and bright colours from DIY lighting rigs to the stage – they’re exuberant in both sound and style.

This is a band who wear their influences proudly on their sleeve, whilst still maintaining their individuality and creativity. Boasting bittersweet charm and an upbeat, tropical vibe, ‘Move On’ is guaranteed to win over fans of Bombay Bicycle Club and Two Door Cinema Club alike.
