JIM CAESAR
Jim Caesar describes himself as a ‘vibemaker’, and he seemingly does just that on latest track ‘Artefact’. It’s smooth, soaring synths pair nicely with his breathy, nineties-boy-band vocals, while the bassline and 808s keep things up to date.
The Buckinghamshire-born producer tells The 405 that the the track is “loosely based on the heart-ripping scene from ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’. It’s the jump off track coz it’s straight fiyah and reminds me of NSync” – if that doesn’t clear things up, I don’t know what will. Regardless, ‘Artefact’ will be the first track of many in the coming months, as Caesar gears up to release his debut EP.
