LITTLE SIMZ

Islington MC Little Simz‘ fourth mixtape ‘Blank Canvas’ has been out for a minute, and has garnered the attention of critics and fans alike, as well as from the likes of Zane Lowe and Kano.  Her latest offering, ‘Deranged’, sees Little Simz flow over the instrumental to Earl Sweatshirt‘s ‘Hive’, which perfectly suits the disjointed, accusative style she adopts on the track.

Equally well-suited is the Lemonade Money-produced video, in which director Jeremy Cole manages to create a sinister visual with overtones of the subliminal with little more than a leather sofa and a projector.
