Seramic

After bursting onto the scene in a blaze of blog glory at the end of last year with ‘People Say‘, the enigmatic Seramic continued to get pulses racing with follow up track, ‘Waiting‘. The blend of pop and neo-soul has also pricked influential ears and a much sought after support slot with Jack Garratt has been secured for the autumn.

The excitement continues to build and latest offering ‘Found‘, a certifiably HUGE tune, has only furthered the feverish enthusiasm surrounding this mysterious act.

Beginning with ice crystal calm, like a finding yourself in the fortress of solitude, ‘Found‘ soon steps outside to be bathed in the glorious, colourful magnificence of the northern lights. Melody, vocals and rhythm all collide and explode into a blaze of colour and sound hits like a New Year’s firework display in the darkness of night.

It kicks and bounces, with rich and full soulful sounds blending into a wonderful pop hook and then there is this remarkable distressed guitar wail that sounds like Prince reaching out from beyond the grave. The fuzziness grinding into the crispness of the beat and the grand choral backing vocals.

It’s a superb outing from an incredible new act that people are rightly getting a more than a little bit giddy over.
