UNTILTHERIBBONBREAKS

‘2025’ by UntilTheRibbonBreaks is an absolutely sublime listen. The production collides elements of post-dubstep, pop and ambient music, the vocals have a soulful vulnerability in the same way that Bon Iver so effectively displays, and the intro takes me to a world similar to Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. Interesting, complex, yet baring all to the world, UntilTheRibbonBreaks command your ears to listen, and provide a sound that combines elements of familiarity, with a scope that defies anything you’ve ever heard before. Wonderful.

There isn’t much information out there on UntilTheRibbonBreaks, however a Facebook update on the 14th July revealed enough to keep us excited:

“Hello all, I don’t speak a great deal, but I wanted to say thankyou for your support. Lots more music on the way. Love to all”.

Let’s keep our ears open then.
