WILL BERRIDGE

Will Berridge is a UK producer based currently in Leeds, and he’s one to watch out for. He’s producing a mixture of techno and house which has a wonderful vibe to it, and that’s the case with the track in question here, ‘Means’. ‘Means’ starts out with a gritty 4×4 kick that soon merges with shifting hi-hats, echoed chords and a short snappy clap. 

Several interesting percussive elements then get thrown into the mix alongside plenty of vocal chops, and by this time there’s a real groove to the whole composition. Mr. Berridge is being very kind and giving away ‘Means’ for absolutely nothing. If you listen carefully, you might even be able to hear a cheeky sample from Alicia Keys’ ‘Fallin’’ somewhere in there too. It’s also well worth checking out Will’s ‘Make A Move’ EP which is out now on Save You Records.
